No one ever wastes time. Time is a human concept. Time cannot be managed, it will pass regardless of what you are doing whilst it is doing what it does. What gets wasted is ‘opportunity’. However, no one has been able to tell you what the opportunities are or where to find them. And what we do from day to day will define how we spend our future. If you are thinking about what you are going to do, you are still not doing it. If you get started with something, and you don’t see it through to completion, you have wasted an opportunity, NOT your time.
I’ve been thinking a lot, over the past couple of years, about The Power of Choice.
What is the power of choice?

How to set goals was covered previously, on day 3 – prioritse, so for this post we’ll take a look at WHY we should set goals.
1. Take Control of Your Life.
Many people today are sleepwalking through life. Even though they may work hard, they don’t feel like they are getting what they want. That’s because they don’t know where they want to go, what they want to achieve.
2. Get Maximum Results
Top performers, world-class athletes, and successful people all set goals. That’s because when you set goals, you have a vision to work toward. You ensure that you are pushing yourself to get the best results, rather than resting on your laurels and waiting for things to happen.

What is your goal in life?
For some it’s to get into shape. For some, it’s to get rich. For others, it’s to see the world.
Now, what is your daily goal?
This is a very different concept but actually, the daily goal is far more important than the overarching goal – at least if you really want to achieve the things that you’re dreaming of. And why is that?

5. Wake Up Early:
If you have trouble with your sleep pattern, (this is one of my own problems, so I’m ready for this challenge ), it can be fixed.

2 . Make mornings bright.
Light tells your body clock when it’s time to wake up. In the morning, turn on bright lights, open the shades, or take a walk in the sunshine, or all of the above.

Have you ever imagined living in a place, say, an area in your home town, or a different city, only to find that some time later you were going there to live?
This has happened to me several times over the years and I’m quite sure I played no other part in the process than to imagine living there. And I’d never even heard of visualisation at the time.
Here are 2 facts about visualisation:

In getting started with putting our Self-Empowerment Alliance online, the first thing I done was to open a Facebook page. And, just to get started, I ran a series of posts entitled, “Powerful Habits of The Ultra Successful.” It’s quite possibly a sort of ‘run of the mill’ collection of habits that may well help one become successful, but, I thought I’d run with it anyway. In order to make it a little more interesting I added some text in the pic description area, (some of them quite lengthy), and BOOM! I knew, as I was writing them up, I had some potential blog posts right there on Facebook. So, I’ve decided to run the sequence again, this time on the blog. After all, if you want to read something, the last place you might look would be a pic description on any social media platform. Wouldn’t you agree?
So, here’s part one.
